The idea of this project was to bring Baroque closer to a younger audience, to make the exhibits visible - outside of the museum.
The story of this animation picks up three main Baroque topics:
richness and vanity
death and ephemerality
mimesis und inventio - nature and dissolution
Parts of single paintings are cut out and composed to new settings, playful, joyful.
The increasing animation is driven by the deep, initially almost pathetic later techno-ish composition of markus mehr.
